Makers Camp: Robots vs Fairies

In this five day camp session, crafty makers will create creatures, costumes and contraptions that are magic or mechanical ... or both! Our edu-makers will lead campers through a variety of individual and group projects along with team building challenges and collaborations. All tools and materials included, plus FREE lunches. Campers will discover our interconnected ecosystem like curious pixies and rovers while learning about the 4Rs of waste reduction: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Rot.

  • Monday June 23rd through Friday June 27th, 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
(Early drop off starts at 8:30 a.m. and late pick up goes to 5:30 p.m.)

  • At the Jefferson Community Center, 1000 B Street, Eureka

  • Free Lunch provided by the Free Summer Lunch Program through the Jefferson Project. Campers are of course welcome to pack a lunch instead.

  • Please contact Makersapron@inkpeople.org or call / text (707)572-4280 if you have additional questions, or require special accommodations.

Mini Maker Camp Interest Form

We are so happy to be offering a mini maker camp again in 2025! We need to make sure there's at least 16 campers in each session before we can commit to paying rent and staff. So … Invite your friends!

Please only send this form if you are for sure interested in paying for a camp spot.
This form reserves your spot. We will accept up to 20 campers.

Once we hit that magic number of 16 kids for each camp, we will send out the store link to collect payment.
All “go / no go” decisions will be made by Friday June 6th, or as soon as camp is full.

Lots of take home projects!

FREE Lunches and snacks at the J Cafe!

On Friday we will have a photo shoot … it gets weird!
